We are looking to expand our team in order to bring our Performing Arts programs to a wider audience for 2019. Our Business and Community Development coordinator is responsible for all of PMPA’s outreach programs, for the interactions we have in the wider Hastings community and for solidifying customer relationships from within the company in order to best serve our dance families.

The Business and Community Development Coordinator is the stepping stone between the community, and PMPA, between the dance family and the teacher. Their role also includes capturing dance class activities by photo/video/live stream and posting to social media. They need to be comfortable assisting junior students in homework, ensuring the cleanliness of the PMPA studios and common areas and to assist with building community within the organisation and the wider community.

The Business and Community Development Coordinator is responsible for executing the company’s strategic plan. Attention to detail and willingness to learn and gain knowledge is essential. We offer full training, plenty of opportunities for professional development and provide all materials and mentoring. In return, a proactive nature and a growth mindset is a MUST.

We are a values driven company, knowledge of our culture and willingness is essential. A successful candidate must be confident in communication, willing to perform a range of tasks and report to a range of stakeholders both internal and external.

Previous dance experience and experience in a child-related industry is highly regarded but not a necessity.
